No pupil shall be absent without leave previously obtained except in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Application for leave should be submitted in advance by the parent or guardian on behalf of the students to the class teacher.
Medical certificate must be produced in case; a child takes leave for more than two days, on medical grounds.
No pupil should absent himself or herself from any school function as attendance is marked on those days.
All pupils should reach the school 10 min prior to the morning assembly bell. The school gate will be closed at 8:30 am. Three entries in the late arrival record will be considered as half a day leave. Late arrival record has to be duly signed by the parent.
A minimum attendance of 85% of the total working days is necessary for a student to appear for the Annual Examination. The Principal is authorized to condone shortages up to 15% in special circumstances.
